Insurance Info
Many insurance policies cover acupuncture or physical therapy done by an acupuncturist. Flow is an out of network health care provider. This means that if your insurance is an HMO or you have a co-pay amount for doctor’s visits we WILL NOT be able to bill your insurance.
We WILL be able to bill your insurance IF your insurance:
- covers out of network providers, AND
- covers acupuncture, OR
- covers physical therapy done by an acupuncturist
In some cases, such as Worker’s Comp, we can bill insurance if it is recommended by your physician.
To find out whether your insurance covers acupuncture, you can either call the number on the back of your insurance card and speak with a representative from your insurance company,
OR
fill out our insurance form and we will contact them for you. We’ll get back to you within 2 business days to let you know what benefits you have with your insurance policy, what your deductible is and how much you’ve paid towards it this year
Your insurance probably covers acupuncture if your insurance is through your work and you work at:
- Raytheon
- SkyWest Airlines
- Southern Arizona VA Health Care System
- Holmes Tuttle Ford (physical therapy only)
- Diebold (physical therapy only)
- Asarco
Your policy will NOT cover acupuncture if:
- You have AHCCCS or Medicare
- You have insurance through the University of Arizona
